Michael Bayouth is a seasoned artist who has excelled in various areas of the arts. His work as a Union Storyboard Artist on several impressive projects such as “Books of Blood” (Hulu), “The Orville,” and “Spider-Man II” by Sam Raimi is truly remarkable. He even played a role in shooting the test shots for the Doc Ock puppeteer unit in Spider-Man II, working with Sam Raimi and John Dykstra. Michael has also worked as a Storyboard Artist and Senior Illustrator on TV shows such as “Winning Time” on HBO, “Salem,” and “The Orville,” collaborating with Executive Producers like Brannon Braga, Nick Copus, and Joe Dante. Currently, Michael is involved in the production of the new Jeff Bridges series called “The Old Man.”
Aside from his work in film and television, Michael has also ventured into self-producing and directing. His award-winning feature film, a mockumentary titled “Take 22,” is an improv milestone. He has also produced and directed several films for exhibition.
As a writer, Michael has authored various works, including a horror feature screenplay called “CornStalkers,” which has gained recognition and accolades in screenplay competitions and film festivals worldwide. He intends to expand this screenplay into a horror novel series, set to be released in Fall 2023. He has worked as an Entertainment Art Director since the early 80s and continues to generate art and branding for the industry. Michael has contributed his art direction and illustration skills to major studios, including Disney and Universal, working on projects like “Mary Poppins,” “Rescuers Down Under,” “Babe,” and “101 Dalmatians,” among many others.
